UCLA freshman forward Kris Wilkes has decided to withdraw from the NBA draft and return to Westwood for his sophomore season, according to Jon Rothstein of FRS Sports.

The Indianapolis native made an immediate impact for the Bruins this season, averaging 13.7 points and 4.9 rebounds in just 29.7 minutes per night.

With Aaron Holiday having declared for the draft, Wilkes' return will ensure head coach Steve Alford retains a proven scorer next year.
