The mass exodus for Pitt continued Saturday as the Panthers' leading scorer, Jared Wilson-Frame, was granted his release and will explore transfer opportunities.
"I am still considering coming back to finish my senior season at Pitt, but I want to weigh out all options of what's best for myself in the near future," he told Jeff Goodman of ESPN.
Wilson-Frame, who averaged 13 points per game this past season, joins Ryan Luther, Malik Ellison, Kene Chukwuka, Parker Stewart, Marcus Carr, Khameron Davis, Terrell Brown, and Shamiel Stevenson in receiving their release in the wake of head coach Kevin Stallings' firing March 8.
With the latest news, only Peace Ilegomah and Samson George remain on the Pitt roster from the current season.
