Twitter is not nice after Arizona gets routed in Round of 64
Arizona entered the NCAA tournament as a Final Four favorite and left it as an opening-round loser after a blowout 89-68 defeat to Buffalo on Thursday night.
Naturally, Twitter had a field day with the loss, directing most of the negativity toward Wildcats head coach Sean Miller and corruption allegations against the program uncovered by the FBI's investigation into college basketball.
Imagine dropping 100k on a one year rental of a basketball player, breaking numerous major NCAA regulations and risking your job and program, and losing to #13 Buffalo in the first round of the NCAA tournament. Lol @APlayersProgram

@APlayersProgram Looks like your coach didn't pay enough money to his players. Maybe for another $100,000 they would learn the words; hustle, defense, heart...can't buy championships.

I guess #SeanMiller spent his whole bank roll 💰 on Ayton and didn't have any money left for anyone else. 😔😔😔 @APlayersProgram

I’ll add that Sean Miller represents everything that’s bad about college basketball and deserves every second of this. @APlayersProgram should be ashamed that he’s even coaching right now.

Your coach is an underachieving, overrated, hot garbage mess choke artist @APlayersProgram

i would like to formally request that the @APlayersProgram bury me into my grave so they can let me down one more time

Wow @APlayersProgram... your guard play was pathetic and atrocious tonight. PJC, Alkins and Trier were all some kind of dirty tonight. They, and the rest of the team, should be embarrassed about tonight. No heart, no fight, just bad #MarchMadness

The lackluster effort in McKale this year against UCLA was nothing compared to tonight. I'm a YUGE Wildcat fan but this is uncalled for. Changes in the @APlayersProgram culture need to occur. Saying this as an alumni and season ticket holder. 🔴🔵🔴🔵🔴

'@APlayersProgram If you can pay your players hundreds of thousands of dollars, the least you could do is refund me $40 for screwing me two years in a row.
