Kanter believes Ball brothers will hate playing in Lithuania

Culture shock isn't a joke.

Just ask Enes Kanter, who knows life in small European villages doesn't compare to the Los Angeles lifestyle.

The New York Knicks center was blunt about LiAngelo and LaMelo Ball taking their talents to Prienai, Lithuania, a small city of approximately 10,000 residents. He was also straightforward about the difficulty of adjusting to the European game and extensive practices every day.

"I’ve been there before," Kanter said of Lithuania, according to Adam Zagoria of Sportsnet New York. "They might not like it there, they will hate it there. You’re leaving Los Angeles going to Lithuania, it might be a little different. Not little, big difference. European culture, European basketball, it’s not like here, man. It’s like two hours in the morning, two hours in night time, practices and stuff. It’s tough. That’s going to be really tough on the kid."

Living the Lithuanian lifestyle will be one story for the Ball brothers. The basketball side of things is another addition to what might be a difficult adjustment for two teenagers from California.

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, there has only been one American signed by Prienu Vytautas - the Lithuanian club the Ball brothers will be joining - and he left the team after a month.
