Mitchell Robinson won't be going to college after all.

After returning to Western Kentucky last month and enrolling in the fall semester, the 7-footer has decided to skip school altogether and begin training for next year's NBA Draft.

"I’ve decided to leave Western Kentucky and just focus on next year’s NBA Draft," Robinson told Evan Daniels of Scout.com. "I want to thank Western Kentucky, the coaching staff, the fans, and my teammates, but I decided to pursue a professional career."

It was reported in August that Robinson had decided to skip the 2017-18 college season before he returned to the WKU campus just days later.

"The lifetime goal of mine is to play in the NBA and I feel like forgoing my year of college and going straight to work on a day to day basis will help prepare me, so I can focus just on basketball and maturing," Robinson said.

Robinson momentarily left campus this summer after he was issued an indefinite suspension by Western Kentucky for a violation of team rules.
