Odds are good that both Porter brothers will be playing at Missouri next season.

Jontay Porter, brother of 2017 top recruit Michael Porter Jr., told Gary Parrish of CBS Sports that it's a "safe assumption" that he will also enroll at Missouri for his freshman season.

"Yeah, for sure," Jontay said. "That's a safe assumption."

Jontay initially planned to join the 2018 class, but he will likely reclassify and enroll for the upcoming season.

With the Porter brothers in tow, a bounce-back campaign seems inevitable for a Mizzou side that went 8-46 in league play over the last three seasons. Jontay is a bruising interior player, while Michael is widely expected to go first overall in the 2018 NBA draft.

The Porter brothers are intimately familiar with life in Columbia, given that their father, Michael Porter Sr., was an assistant with the Missouri women's program for seven years.
