LaVar Ball: LiAngelo, LaMelo will be 1-and-done at UCLA

Former UCLA star Lonzo Ball's younger brothers will follow in his footsteps and spend no more than one year in college, according to their father.

"No matter what," LaVar Ball told ESPN's Jeff Goodman while discussing his sons' futures at UCLA.

Lonzo came to the Bruins as one of the top recruits in the nation and established himself as one of the top NBA draft prospects in his first and only campaign.

LiAngelo is set to join the program this season, and while LaVar has talked him up as an immediate superstar, the 6-foot-6 guard is the lowest-ranked recruit of the six prospects coming to UCLA in 2017.

"All my boys are gonna be one-and-done," LaVar said. "Gelo is going be one-and-done whether he's good or bad. I'm going to put him in the draft, hope they don't take him. Bring him into the Lakers as a free agent, let him wind up with his brother and watch how good they play together."

LaMelo, who made headlines with a 92-point game in high school last year, is a five-star recruit in the class of 2019.

"I'm going to do the same thing with Melo," said LaVar. "And we get three of the Ball boys on the Lakers together, and we gonna go championship, championship, championship, championship, championship. You think I'm playing. You saw what they did in high school."

LiAngelo and LaMelo committed to the Bruins in 2015, while Lonzo pledged to UCLA in 2014, two years before he could suit up for the legendary program.
