Report: Baylor's Motley signs with agent, ends NCAA career

Kevin Jairaj / USA TODAY Sports

Baylor forward Johnathan Motley has signed with an agent and will, therefore, remain in the 2017 NBA Draft, according to John Werner of the Waco Tribune.

Motley was widely expected to turn pro after initially electing to test the draft waters, but would've been among the preseason favorites to win National Player of the Year honors had he decided to return for his senior campaign.

The 6-foot-10 big man averaged 17.3 points and 9.9 rebounds last season, leading the Bears to their first Sweet 16 appearance in the NCAA tournament since 2014.

Motley is projected as a borderline first-round pick.
