Arizona hires former Washington HC Lorenzo Romar as assistant

Fired Washington head coach Lorenzo Romar will be staying in the Pac-12, as Arizona announced the hiring of the former Husky bench boss on Saturday as an assistant.
Romar was fired back in March, after 15 seasons with the Huskies, following a 9-22 season with potential 2017 No. 1 NBA draft pick Markelle Fultz on the roster.
Known for his recruiting abilities, Romar will only add to the riches Arizona currently has, after the Wildcats reached the Sweet 16 in this year's NCAA tournament.
During Romar's tenure, the Huskies had nine first-round draft picks and 12 overall, but only made six NCAA tournaments and missed the last six.
