UNLV hit hard as trio opts to transfer
Cary Edmondson-USA TODAY Sports
UNLV's roster is going to look very different next season, as Jalen Poyser, Zion Morgan, and Troy Baxter Jr. will all leave the program via transfer, as per a release obtained by Jon Rothstein of Fan Rag Sports.
Poyser is the biggest loss, as the sophomore guard averaged 10.4 points on the season, which would have been second highest among returning players.
Baxter and Morgan were both bench players that didn't see the court much in 2016-17, averaging 4.3 and 2.8 points, respectively.
As per NCAA regulations, all three will be forced to sit out next season before becoming eligible in 2018-19.
