LaVar Ball: Lonzo can beat LeBron, Westbrook in 5-on-5 game

To the surprise of nobody, LaVar Ball is in the news yet again making fairly outrageous claims about his son Lonzo.
The father of the UCLA star has already made headlines for saying that Lonzo is better than Steph Curry and he has an ongoing feud with Charles Barkley. Now, you can add comparing his son to Russell Westbrook and LeBron James to the list of attention-grabbing statements.
While admitting that Westbrook and James are physically stronger than his son, he doesn't see that as an issue in a full-court game of basketball.
"To me Zo (Lonzo) is the best player in the world," LaVar said in a phone interview with Sean Gregory of Time Magazine. "I don't know if he can beat them one-on-one, but I know he can beat them 5 on 5."
Ignoring the fact that a 5-on-5 game is entirely dependent on the rest of the players filling out the rosters, maybe LaVar wants to start with some players with less fanfare than Westbrook and James.
Lonzo Ball is an exceptional player at the collegiate level and will be one of the top picks in the upcoming NBA Draft, but choosing him to beat either of those two seems borderline insane at this point in time, which would be right in-line with the rest of LaVar's comments in recent weeks.
