Miami and No. 18 Virginia are two respectable programs. One is ranked in the top 25 and assured of a berth into the NCAA Tournament, while the other most likely will join their conference partner in March Madness.
Still, the first half was not kind to either team, highlighted by Virginia failing to score a field goal in the final 6:10 of the first half, something that carried over into the first 2:08 of the second.
Not to be outdone, Miami had their own mishaps, as freshman Bruce Brown was not able to finish the easy dunk after he stole the ball for what looked like an easy fast break opportunity.
