Oregon State's Tres Tinkle could miss 2 months with broken wrist

A broken wrist in his non-shooting hand could keep Oregon State forward Tres Tinkle sidelined for up to two months, the team announced.
The Beavers' leading scorer will undergo a CT scan Monday before determining whether or not to have surgery on the wrist. If he avoids the knife, Tinkle could return to the lineup in about a month.
"We're hoping it's not bad and he's only out three or four weeks," head coach Wayne Tinkle said of his son's injury, according to Jeff Goodman of ESPN. "It depends whether there's ligament damage - and if he needs surgery."
Tinkle, a sophomore, is averaging 20.2 points and 8.3 rebounds through six games this season.
The 2-4 Beavers face Southern Oregon on Monday.
