Georgetown lands 4-star PG Tremont Waters
Georgetown landed a big-time commitment on Wednesday, as four-star point guard Tremont Waters announced he would be joining the Hoyas.
The 5-foot-11 prospect is ranked as the seventh-best point guard in the 2017 class and is listed 32nd overall on the ESPN 100.
The electrifying Waters was being courted by numerous top programs, including Indiana, Kentucky, Kansas, and UConn, but chose Georgetown following a visit to the school this past weekend, his second trip in the last six weeks.
Waters is head coach John Thompson III's first commit of the 2017 cycle, but with his name on the books now, that should lead to further success on the recruiting trail for the Hoyas.
