UConn guard Rodney Purvis will wear No. 15 this season in honor of the Oklahoma State player who died after a team workout on July 21.
Tyrek Coger, a junior college transfer, was 22 when he collapsed during the Cowboys practice. It was later discovered he had an enlarged heart.
Purvis wore No. 44 last season, and averaged 12.8 points per game to lead the Huskies in scoring.
