Steve Fisher and San Diego State got some great news Monday, as sophomore standout Malik Pope told ESPN's Jeff Goodman he is withdrawing from the 2016 NBA Draft.

The 6-foot-10, 205-pound Pope will return to the Aztecs for his junior season, giving the Aztecs another quality scoring option in the frontcourt.

Pope averaged 7.3 points and 5.0 rebounds in 21.3 minutes of action per contest last season.
