Nevada's Cameron Oliver: Withdraws from NBA draft
Oliver will withdraw his name from the NBA Draft and return to Nevada for his sophomore season, Jeff Goodman of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis:
After being named the Mountain West freshman of the year, Oliver decided he'd test the NBA draft process and get feedback from NBA scouts. However, Oliver didn't get an invite to the NBA draft combine and had minimal team workouts, so he'll return to Nevada, which is a team many have tabbed as the favorite to win their conference. Oliver finished the 2015-16 season with averages 13.4 points, 9.1 rebounds and 2.6 blocks over 29 minutes per game and should have the chance to improve his numbers in his second season with the Wolf Pack.
