Wake Forest transfer Rondale Watson commits to Marshall
Rob Kinnan-USA TODAY Sports
It took almost two months, but Wake Forest transfer Rondale Watson has found a new home, as the sophomore guard told CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein he's committed to Marshall.
Watson announced early in March he would be leaving the Demon Deacons' program, and after an exhaustive search, has settled with a Marshall team looking to replace top scorer James Kelly.
Playing just 14 minutes a game last season, Watson averaged only 3.1 points, but is sure to see increased playing time after the move to the Conference USA program.
As per NCAA transfer regulations, Watson will be forced to sit out the 2016-17 campaign before becoming eligible with two seasons remaining.
