Providence made a splash on the recruiting trail Tuesday, landing a commitment from four-star forward Alpha Diallo.
"I built a strong relationship with coach (Ed) Cooley and he has a clear vision for my future!" Diallo he told Jeff Borzello of ESPN.
Diallo took his time making a decision, as he was one of only six players on the ESPN 100 that were still pondering their college destination.
The 6-foot-7 forward certainly had his choice of landing spots, also receiving offers from Indiana, Miami, Florida, and several other Power 5 schools.
Diallo should have an immediate impact on a Friars squad that has made three straight appearances in the NCAA tournament.
