Lamont Paris promoted to associate head coach at Wisconsin
MADISON, Wis. (AP) Wisconsin coach Greg Gard has promoted Lamont Paris to associate head coach and retained assistant Howard Moore.
The Badgers announced the moves on Tuesday.
Paris and Gard were assistants when coach Bo Ryan retired in December. Gard took over on an interim basis before getting the full-time job in March.
Paris just finished his sixth season on the staff. A former Wisconsin assistant, Moore returned to take the vacancy on the staff when Gard became head coach.
Moore was previously head coach at Illinois-Chicago for five seasons.
Paris and Moore have been joined on the Wisconsin staff by former Badgers player Joe Krabbenhoft. He was previously an assistant at South Dakota State. Wisconsin also announced that Kat Vosters would return for a third season as director of basketball operations.
