West will sit out of Wednesday's matchup with the Pelicans for rest purposes, Mike Monroe of The Rivard Reports reports.
Analysis:
This is a simple rest game for West, so it is likely safe to assume he will be fine for the Spurs next game Saturday against the Raptors. In the meantime, Boris Diaw could see an increased workload with West out for the evening.
