The Oklahoma City Thunder welcomed back a familiar face on Saturday.
The team signed veteran big man Nazr Mohammed, the team announced.
The 38-year-old center - who played the last three seasons with the Chicago Bulls - was a member of the Thunder for two seasons, spanning from 2010 to 2012.
Known more for his leadership qualities than statistical production, the 6-foot-10 Kentucky alumnus - who was drafted 29th overall in 1998 - should provide OKC with some frontcourt depth in a pinch.
Nazr Mohammad on being back with OKC: "From what I've seen, there's a chance to go out the way I want to, competing for a championship."

Through 1000 games in his 17-year career, he has averaged 5.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 0.6 blocks.
