Report: Rockets' Motiejunas to return vs. Spurs following 25-game absence
Troy Taormina / USA TODAY Sports
Houston Rockets power forward Donatas Motiejunas will return to action on Saturday versus the San Antonio Spurs, reports Jabari Young of the San Antonio Express-News.
Motiejunas has missed the previous 25 games for Houston with a back injury.
The 7-foot Lithuanian made headlines earlier this month, after his failed physical caused several pre-deadline trades to fall apart.
Motiejunas is averaging 5.6 points, 2.1 rebounds, and one assist in just 14 games this season.
The Rockets (29-29) are in desperate need of a win on Saturday, as they attempt to hold onto the final playoff spot in the West.
