Cold-blooded Curry buries Heat with late 3-pointer
In a contest where Stephen Curry tied Kyle Korver's NBA record for most consecutive games with a 3-pointer, it was only fitting that he would put the Miami Heat away late in the fourth quarter - on a 3-pointer.
Miami's Hassan Whiteside - playing in a fourth quarter for a change - got some measure of revenge on trash-talking opponent Draymond Green with a block late in the game.
But Curry would not be denied after that - even if Green was getting away with a moving screen.

The Warriors hung on to beat the Heat 118-112, with Curry leading the way with 42 points - featuring 6-of-12 shooting from deep. He added seven assists and seven rebounds. Klay Thompson scored 33 for Golden State. The pair combined to score 27 of the Warriors' final 29 points.

It was also Curry's 10th game this season with at least 35 points, five dimes, and five boards - most in the NBA.

The Warriors' magic number to clinch a playoff spot is now two. Dwyane Wade scored a season-high 32 points for Miami.
