Rather than signing Hollins for the rest of the season, the Grizzlies' front office opted to instead get an extended look at center Chris Andersen, who was acquired on Tuesday as part of a three-team trade that sent Courtney Lee to the Hornets. Hollins had appeared in 19 games this season during stints with the Wizards and Grizzlies, posting averages of 2.8 points and 2.3 rebounds across 10.8 minutes.
