The 2016 All-Stars will be introduced by Toronto-born rapper Drake in Sunday's All-Star Game, the league announced Friday.

Drake, a natural emcee by trade, has introduced players on three occasions for the Toronto Raptors since being named a team brand ambassador in 2014.

After coaching Team Canada to a victory in Friday's Celebrity Game, Drake teased in the postgame interview that he "doesn't stick to the script" in his intros, presumably alluding to his tendency to give players wacky nicknames and titles as they emerge.

For example, Drake once dubbed Toronto's Jonas Valanciunas "Big Science," and joked that Amir Johnson - a former spokesperson for cleaning products - had a tattoo of a Swiffer Wet Jet.
