Tim Duncan: Will not return Saturday

Duncan (knee) will not return to action Saturday versus the Lakers.

Analysis:

This will be the seventh consecutive game missed for Duncan. At this point, the Spurs may simply be opting to wait until after the All Star break to bring back their veteran big man, but that is purely speculation. David West will likely continue filling in for Duncan until he returns. He remains day-to-day going forward. The spurs next play Tuesday versus the Heat.
