Archie Goodwin has given the Phoenix Suns some quality minutes in the backcourt since being inserted into the starting lineup on Jan. 21. The team only has one victory since then, but nonetheless, interim head coach Earl Watson has himself a keeper in the 21-year-old Kentucky product while Eric Bledsoe is sidelined.

Trailing by 11 at home on Thursday night against the Houston Rockets, Goodwin ran up the floor and, with a little bit of luck, hit a 3-pointer in Corey Brewer's grill to close out the third quarter.

Brewer had the last laugh, though, dropping a team-high 24 points in 24 minutes as Houston won its second game in a row, 111-105.

Goodwin led the Suns with 22 points and seven assists, although he turned the ball over on six occasions.
