Portland Trail Blazers guard C.J. McCollum will participate in the Skills Challenge at All-Star weekend in Toronto, according to Erik Gundersen of The Colombian.

He will face Anthony Davis, Karl-Anthony Towns, Draymond Green, DeMarcus Cousins - all bigs - and presumably three other candidates in what's shaping up to be a David vs. Goliath-themed showdown.

Now in his third season, McCollum has emerged as one of the league's best scorers, and figures to be a front-runner in the race for Most Improved Player. McCollum is averaging 20.9 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 4.5 assists, while shooting 39.1 percent from deep.

As for his ball-handling ability, Dallas Mavericks legend Dirk Nowitzki can attest to McCollum's slippery handles.

The Skills Challenge will take place on Saturday, Feb. 13.
