Nelson (wrist) has been upgraded from doubtful to questionable for Thursday's game against the Wizards, Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post reports.

Analysis:

Nelson has been dealing with a sprained left wrist for the past two weeks, forcing him to miss the Nuggets' last six games. While he's far from a lock to return Thursday, the fact that he's now listed as questionable is a step in the right direction, and even if he's ultimately held out, it would appear a return is near. In Nelson's absence, Gary Harris, Randy Foye, and 10-day contract signee Sean Kilpatrick have been filling in behind starting point guard Emmanuel Mudiay.
