Prior to taking the floor Tuesday night when his Miami Heat faced off against the Brooklyn Nets, All-Star starter Dwyane Wade received a text message with some words of encouragement from his son, Zaire.
Wade scored 27 points and dished out eight assists as Miami pulled out a narrow 102-98 win at the Barclays Center.
"Big Dog" has certainly been in attack mode of late, averaging 25.6 points over his last three games. The Heat endured a rough stretch prior to that with seven losses in eight outings.
Fathers usually know best, but in this case, it's the son coming through with some words of wisdom.
