There's just something about playing in his hometown of Chicago that brings out the best in three-time champion Dwyane Wade.

The Miami Heat were anything but sizzling heading into Monday night's road meeting with the Chicago Bulls, having lost four straight games and seven of their last eight.

Cue "Flash."

With his team leading by two during the dying moments of the contest, Wade drilled a jumper in the corner over 7-footer Pau Gasol to essentially put the game out of reach for Chicago.

Wade finished with a game-high 28 points on 11-of-21 shooting from the field in Miami's 89-84 victory at the United Center.

"We needed it, big time," Wade said of the win, according to the Miami Herald's Ethan Skolnick.
