Allen (knee) will try to play Saturday against Minnesota, Ronald Tillery of The Commercial Appeal reports.

Analysis:

Allen has been slowed by knee and hamstring issues of late and missed Thursday's game against Denver, but it appears that he'll try to play through the ailments Saturday against the Timberwolves. Matt Barnes played 36 minutes at small forward in Allen's absence Thursday and could be in line for another start if Allen is ruled out.
