Gasol (knee) will try to play Saturday against Minnesota, Grizzlies sideline reporter Rob Fischer reports.
Analysis:
Gasol has been battling an undisclosed knee injury but he will at least test it out during warmups and determine whether he can play or not. Coach Dave Joerger said that Gasol is "dinged up" but noted that he's "going to try to [play]" against the Timberwolves. If he is ultimately unable to play, Zach Randolph could slide over to center for the Grizzlies.
