New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony officially passed Boston Celtics great Larry Bird for 31st on the NBA's all-time scoring list Wednesday.
Anthony scored 30 points on efficient 13-of-20 shooting from the field in a 118-111 overtime win over the Utah Jazz to move past "Larry Legend."

Bird, 59, currently acts as team president of the Indiana Pacers. In 13 seasons with the Celtics organization, Bird averaged 24.3 points on 49.6 percent shooting from the field and 37.6 percent from deep, along with 10 rebounds, 6.3 assists, and 1.7 steals.
He was a three-time NBA champion, two-time Finals MVP, three-time league MVP, and 12-time All-Star as an active competitor, as well as Coach of the Year and Executive of the Year with the Pacers.
