Eric Gordon expected to miss four-to-six weeks with broken finger
Gordon, who fractured his right ring finger in Tuesday's 114-99 win over the Timberwolves, is expected to be sidelined for four-to-six weeks, Scott Kushner of the New Orleans Advocate reports.
Analysis:
Gordon left late in the third quarter of Tuesday's game with the injured digit, which occurred on his shooting hand. The Pelicans are officially listing Gordon as out indefinitely for the moment, but sources close to the situation believe it will require at least a month-long absence for the 27-year-old. Gordon, who is averaging 14.9 points and has knocked down 101 three-pointers on the season, could end up being replaced in the starting lineup by Jrue Holiday or Norris Cole.
