Whiteside (knee) is available, but will not start Wednesday versus the Clippers, Jason Liesser of The Palm Beach Post reports.

There has been a lot of confusion regarding Whiteside's status Wednesday evening. Whiteside first indicated after warmups that he would play, but it was then reported that he was a late scratch. It has been confirmed that he will not start, but he presumably remains available. The Heat will likely only play Whiteside if necessary Wednesday.
