The Indiana Pacers' frontcourt is getting the reinforcements it needs.

After a Thursday loss to the Milwaukee Bucks - a game which both Ian Mahinmi and Jordan Hill missed - the pair of big men will return to the lineup for Saturday's contest versus the Detroit Pistons, according to Pistons.com's Keith Langlois.

Mahinmi was nursing a sore knee, and Hill was recovering from a dental procedure he recently underwent.

The Pacers have dropped their last two games against teams - the Bucks and Chicago Bulls - with multiple big men in their lineups, a somewhat antiquated approach in today's brave new smallball world.

Head coach Frank Vogel will implement a taller front line against the Pistons, who have one of the league's best traditional centers - Andre Drummond - in the middle.

The bench boss indicated he will start Lavoy Allen alongside Mahinmi.

Mahinmi - a 6-foot-11 center - is averaging 8.3 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks in 30 games this season, while Hill - a 6-foot-10 pivot - is logging 10 points and 7.7 boards in 28 contests.
