Sometimes the best defense on the hardwood is just getting out of the way.
Okay, so that's extremely rare for that to work. But on Wednesday night in a game between the Portland Trail Blazers and Denver Nuggets, Blazers big man Miles Plumlee proved that the strategy does have its usefulness.
With Kenneth Faried looking to post up late in the fourth quarter, the 25-year-old Duke alumnus stepped out of the way and forced "The Manimal" to take a tumble:
