The Houston Rockets have interest in acquiring Phoenix Suns forward Markieff Morris, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.

Morris, who did not play Sunday versus the Memphis Grizzlies due to a coach's decision, has played in 17 games, averaging 12.1 points per contest.

Trade rumors have surrounded the power forward ever since he voiced his displeasure with how the Suns franchise handled the situation involving his twin brother, Marcus, and the deal that sent him to the Detroit Pistons in the offseason.

He was fined $10,000 by the league for publicly demanding a trade out of Phoenix back in September.

The Rockets are 10-11 on the season and currently sit eighth in the Western Conference.
