New Orleans Pelicans coach Alvin Gentry is trying to give his 4-13 team a boost with a lineup shuffle.
The Pelicans will start Alexis Ajinca at center for Tuesday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies in place of Omer Asik, who has struggled mightily this season.
In 14.5 minutes of action, Asik has averaged just 1.4 points, and 4.8 rebounds per game, to go along with a ghastly 18.2 percent from the floor.
Ajinca hasn't been incredible himself, but he does give New Orleans' offense a bit of a boost. The Frenchman's averaging 14.7 points per 36 minutes, and shooting 51.7 percent.
New Orleans is facing a tough matchup in the Grizzlies, who have won seven of their last nine games.
