Splitter (hip) said Friday that he's still experiencing significant hip pain, Chris Vivlamore of the AJC reports.
Analysis:
Splitter, who will not play Friday, does not appear to be overly close to returning, and the team is yet to hand down an official timetable. The big man is extremely unlikely to take the court Saturday, and it's possible he could miss considerable time. Splitter should be evaluated on a game-to-game basis until further notice.
