Nuggets' Faried won't play vs. Warriors
Chris Humphreys-USA TODAY Sports
The Denver Nuggets will be without the services of "The Manimal" on Sunday night at the Pepsi Center as they look to upset the undefeated Golden State Warriors.
Forward Kenneth Faried will miss a game for the first time this season as he deals with a left ankle sprain.
Veteran Darrell Arthur will step in and man the four-spot for the 6-7 Nuggets in his stead.
Faried sustained back spasms in the first half against the Phoenix Suns on Nov. 14 that ultimately forced him from the game.
He's averaging 12.5 points on 58.8 percent shooting from the field, along with 9.1 rebounds in 27 minutes per game.
