Analysis:

After rejoining the Heat for practice Friday following a hospitalization that cost him four games and a subsequent suspension that resulted in a two-game ban, Green seems to have made amends with the team and coach Erik Spoelstra. Green will have to adjust to life on a second unit that no longer includes Mario Chalmers, who was traded to Memphis last week, but his ability to provide an offensive spark off the bench is a quality the Heat sorely need. The extensive time Green missed, however, may force him to settle for light minutes initially, as Goran Dragic, Dwyane Wade, Luol Deng, Justise Winslow, and Tyler Johnson appear to rank ahead of Green in Spoelstra's perimeter rotation.
