VIDEO: Curry's trick pass leads to his wide-open 3
The Golden State Warriors are the defending NBA champions.
As the preseason gets underway and bold predictions fly around the basketball universe, that fact is worth remembering. They were the recipients of good fortune at times, to be sure, but they won 67 games with a ludicrous point differential and lost just five times in the playoffs. They're the champions 'til they ain't the champions no more.
In case anyone was sleeping on the potential for a repeat, reigning MVP Steph Curry and the Warriors provided a reminder Monday. Operating with a no-play offense under interim head coach Luke Walton, Curry pushed the ball in transition, threw a ridiculous pass, and the Warriors machine took over from there.

The fact that this happens organically, without the structure of a play call, is borderline insane. This team plays beautifully, and Curry celebrating the shot before it's even through the hoop is everything you need to know about Golden State's confidence entering 2015-16.
