Jordan Brand has officially unveiled Chris Paul's ninth signature shoe.
The CP3.IX is the first shoe to feature what the brand has dubbed "Striking Control," which was designed to stabilize the Los Angeles Clippers star's feet as he makes quick cuts and direction changes.
The shoe features the Chinese character for "family" on the outsole's toe, and also the chevron symbol on the sole in honor of Paul's late grandfather.
The lead colorway is "Yellow Dragon" - likening Paul's on-court agility to the Dragon Dance performed during the Chinese New Year. The shoe is set to be released on Oct. 1 in China.
The Emerald colorway will be released in North America on Oct 1, then globally starting Nov. 1.
