The Dallas Mavericks signed forward Jeremy Evans to a reported two-year deal for the league minimum, the team announced on Friday.
Evans' claim to fame is winning the 2012 All-Star weekend Slam Dunk Contest. He's played sparingly, but has spent his entire five-year career with the Utah Jazz, where he was a second-round draft pick in 2010. Evans saw rotation minutes in 2013-14, but averaged only 2.4 points in seven minutes per game this past season.
