Hollis-Jefferson was traded to the Nets, along with Steve Blake, in exchange for Pat Connaughton and Mason Plumlee, Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski reports.

Analysis:

Hollis-Jefferson will head to veteran-laden Brooklyn, where he'll face stiffer competition for minutes than he would have in Portland. Joe Johnson is entrenched as a starter on the wing, and Bojan Bogdanovic figures to fill another starting spot. As such, Hollis-Jefferson will primarily compete with Markel Brown, Alan Anderson and, assuming he returns, Mirza Teletovic for playing time. The rookie is one of the better defenders in the draft, but his offensive game is in major need of polish.
