It wasn't the most romantic promposal, but it was effective nonetheless.
When Michigan native Raquel Smith tweeted Andre Drummond asking for a prom date, the Pistons center told her she needed 12,000 retweets in two weeks to make it happen.
Smith came up 46 retweets short over a period of four months, but Drummond didn't hold it against her, arriving in style for the West Bloomfield School District event on Wednesday.

Drummond, who showed up in a white Porsche, remained at the party for nearly two hours, talking and posing for pictures with students and staff members, according to the Detroit Free Press.
