The first-round series between the Atlanta Hawks and the Brooklyn Nets was more than just a shot at a championship - it was a meeting of old friends.
Nets small forward Joe Johnson was a member of the Hawks squad from 2005-12, before being traded to Brooklyn. Johnson formed a strong friendship with Atlanta's Jeff Teague, whom he pushed to be a more aggressive player on the floor.
Despite the Nets falling to the Hawks in Game 6, Johnson was beyond happy for his friend.
